Trouble At Tundurru Aqua Food Park, Again

Bhimavaram (West Godavari): Villagers of Tundurru were up-in-arms again on Thursday, when the management of the Aqua Food Park attempted to restart operations at the contentious unit.

The management tried to bring in machinery and other utilities into the factory around midnight. However, when villagers got information, they rushed to the factory with kerosene bottles and staged a rasta roko and prevented the factories from entering the premises. They raised slogans objecting to the construction of the factory. The protestors, mostly women, did not budge until the management was forced to recall the lorries.
