Tollywood Producer Receives Threat Calls 

Hyderabad: KL Damodar Prasad, a Tollywood producer belonging to Telangana Film Producers Council approached police saying that he received threat calls to kill him from an unidentified person. The incident happened on Sunday at his residence at Journalists Colony under Jubilee Hills limits.

Damodar in his complaint said that a person introduced himself as Rastogi called up and asked him to pay back money which he borrowed. If he doesn’t repay the amount he would be killed. However, Damodar refuted the allegations and said that he never owed money to anyone.

Inspector K. Srinivas registered a case under section 507 of the IPC and are probing the matter. The call data records are being examined to trace the accused. Further details are awaited.
