This Actress’ Husband Received Death Threats For Marrying A Hindu 

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Ayesha Takia’s husband and Samajwadi Party’s Maharashtra unit chief Abu Azmi’s son Farhan Azmi received death threats for indulging in "love jihad". Farhan lodged a complaint on Wednesday at Colaba police station. He received threats from a political outfit called Hindu Sena remotely operating from Rajasthan . The outfit threatened to kill him for marrying a Hindu girl. The couple got married in 2009 and is blessed with a son named Mikail.

"You all are animals. Have you forgotten that you have indulged in Love Jihad by marrying a Hindu girl?" Azami quoted the callers abuse. The police have received the complaint submitted by him and a probe is underway to trace the miscreants.

The leader and his son recently grabbed the headlines for commenting over Bengaluru molestation, who said, "If a girl celebrates after dark she should go with her husband, father and not with strangers. There should be strict action against those going against our culture."

A difference of opinion between Ayesha and her father-in law is very apparent and when asked over the issues, the actress said, "I don’t think I need to share my opinion all the time. I have moved past that phase, because as a family, we have made peace with the fact that we cannot agree with each other on everything.”
