JEE Topper Chucks IIT to Join The Indian Army

At a time when the students are eyeing on lucrative jobs in software industry, this topper in National Defence Academy (NDA) and Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) chose to serve the country.

The 17-year-old youngster from Rampur in Uttarakhand, Shivansh Joshi, has stunned his parents, teachers and his friends back when opted to make a career in Indian Armed Forces.

Shivansh was inspired when he got to know that at least a person in every single village in the state is serving in the Indian Army. Speaking to media persons, the 17-year-old said that he was inspired by the supreme sacrifice of the men to the country and he believed that he would do better to the country in uniform.

When asked about how he had prepared for the exam, Shivansh said he cracked it because he had control over his routine.
