New Delhi: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Monday said that the man who killed Vamsi Chander Reddy Mamidala in California has been arrested,

The 27-year-old was killed near his apartment. Vamsi hails from Warangal and went to the US in 2013 after completing BTech in Hyderabad. Vamsi, who recently completed his MS was looking out for a job.

Vamsi's parents living in Vangapahad near Warangal and his sister in Hyderabad have been informed by the police about the death. Vamsi belongs to a poor family and had been a bright student since his school days.
