Telugu Girl Dies In Road Mishap In US

Hyderabad: Chunduri Sai Tejaswi (23) died in US after being hit by a speeding vehicle, as she tried to cross the road in Fremont’s Niles District.

The victim was rushed to a hospital but succumbed to injuries. Tejaswi was pursing higher studies in the US.

The police said that Tejaswi was not in the crosswalk but crossing the westbound Niles Boulevard. Two vehicles were approaching the road, but after spotting the pedestrian one stopped, while the other overlooked and hit her.

The driver who hit the victim co-operated in investigation process. Police said that he wasn’t under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
