BJP Seeks G Vivek’s Help To Prevent Demolition Of Telangana Secretariat, Errum Manzil

Vivek said that Shah had earlier invited him to join the party and promised him that he would get a party ticket from Peddapali. But, he trusted KCR to nominate him for the general elections.

He claimed that KCR ditched him at the last moment and instead gave ticket to Borlakunta Venkatesh of the Congress. Meanwhile, the BJP had fielded S. Kumar.

Vivek met Shah with his son Vamshi and the home mininster had urged him to prevent the demolition of buildings of the Secretariat and the Errum Manzil to build the new secretariat and legislature complex.

Vivek who was earlier with the Congress left the party and moved with the TRS as it was unhappy with the party's functioning.
