Hyderabad: Telangana Congress working president Revanth Reddy rubbished the news of him planning to change the party, which is doing rounds lately on the social media.

Speaking to press persons here on Tuesday, the Malkajgiri MP said he would live up to the faith reposed in him by giving him the Congress party ticket by party president Rahul Gandhi. He alleged that the rumours were being spread by those driven by vested and commercial interests.

Reddy said the people of Malkajigiri voted in his favour to keep the spirit of questioning in Telangana alive, while Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao did everything at its disposal to muzzle such voices. He attributed his loss on his home turf in Kodangal constituency in Assembly elections in December to the conspiracy hatched by KCR and Hairsh Rao.

Promising that he would fulfill the promises made to the people of Malkajgiri in the run up to the elections, he said he would work towards exposing and fighting back the divisive politics of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah.
