Karimnagar TRS Leaders Draw Poll Panel Ire For Model Code Violation

Karimnagar: With the Model Code of Conduct in place for the Lok Sabha elections, officials of the Karimnagar Municipal Corporation and town received complaints against local TRS leaders. They were seen installing flexis and banners and also were seen creating traffic impediments in the town on Sunday.
As part of meeting by the TRS Supremo and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, the entire city was decorated with pink party flags, flexis, banners by the TRS leaders and activists. Huge cutouts of the Chief Minister were installed at various places welcoming him. Officials received complaints from the locals and opposition parties prompting them to remove all the material.
It is reported that Karimnagar local MLA Gangula Kamalakar reached the spot along with party activists and tried to stop the officials from removing the material, but was warned not to intervene in their work.
