KCR Ane Nenu: TRS Chief Takes Oath Of Office And Secrecy As Telangana CM

Hyderabad: After a winning the Telangana assembly elections 2018 with a clear majority, TRS chief K. Chandrashekhar Rao  (KCR) took oath as the Chief Minister of India's youngest state for a second consecutive term today at the designated time of 1:25 PM on Thursday.

The ceremony was held at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan where Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan administered the oath of office and secrecy to KCR.


Along with KCR, Mohammad Mahmood Ali also took oath as the Minster designate, which was already mentioned by KCR at a press meet yesterday.

KCR was elected as the leader by the newly elected TRS legislators at a meeting held at the Telangana Bhavan on Wednesday. He had earlier sent in his resignation to the Governor to facilitate formation of the new government and his swearing-in. The TRS chief said he would try to give representation to all sections in the cabinet. It is said that there will be meeting of all the MLAs next week, where the swearing-in ceremony of the MLAs will take place and also the Cabinet ministers details would be revealed.
