KTR Invokes Charan’s Rangasthalam Song To Woo Kukkatpally Voters

Kukkatpally Public Rally November 29  Inset :  Ram Charan in Rangasthalam  - Sakshi Post

Hyderbad: Addressing a road show at Kukatpally in the city on Thursday, caretaker IT Minister K T Rama Rao (KTR) took the reference of Ram Charan's movie Rangasthalam while appealing to the voters there. He said that recently he had seen a film called Rangasthalam where the hero appeals to the villagers to vote for the truth and development of the village panchayat through the song "aa gattununtava." This song when released was quite a hit as it spoke about which side would a person want to be on and vote for. Whether it was the good side which was development or the jersey side.

The song came in handy for the usually suave politician KTR who made the most of the hit number while addressing Seemandhra voters. He spoke about the developmental activities which the TRS government had done for the Kukkatpally constituency like providing roads and drinking water facilities spending crores of rupees on Mission Bhagiratha. The song reference was received with a huge round of applause ,catcalls and whistles among the crowd who stood there for more than an hour listening to him.
