KCR Will Win With 1 Lakh Majority In Gajwel: Harish Rao

Gajwel: Senior leader of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and caretaker minister Harish Rao expressed confidence over TRS supremo and caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's (KCR) victory with a majority of over one lakh votes in Gajwel constituency. Addressing a road show at Toopran here on Thursday, he said that KCR should be credited for his efforts in setting up the regional ring road and for turning Toopran into a municipality. KCR organised large-scale development activities worth Rs 6,000 crore in the constituency, he added.

Quoting India Today survey's findings that KCR's victory was imminent, Harish Rao urged the locals to vote for KCR, who gave access to quality healthcare under Kanti Velugu scheme. TRS will score a resounding victory in the upcoming elections and form the next government in the State, he predicted. In addition to providing drinking water and electricity to the locals, the TRS government also provided irrigation waters from river Godavari to the local farmers, he added.

Terming the Congress alliance's seat sharing process as a trip to Delhi and Amaravati, the caretaker minister further said that the TRS leaders were always with the public. The previous governments of the Congress and TDP could not even provide drinking water facility in the region, he recalled.
