KCR On Top Of Poll Strategy As TRS Aims For Congress Veterans

KCR Poll Strategy -Telangana Elections 2018 - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: The preparations for Telangana 2018 Elections is picking up pace with the TRS party planning its moves and keeping a check on five senior Congress hotshots to ensure that they are defeated in their respective constituencies. The caretaker CM Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) is personally supervising the poll strategies as part of this exercise.

The five leaders in the TRS list include, TPPC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy, CLP leader Jana Reddy, TPCC Working President Revanth Reddy, former ministers DK Aruna & Komatireddy Venkatreddy.

Meanwhile, the party's campaign is at full throttle in the constituencies of Nagarjuna Sagar ( Jana Reddy) Kodangal(Revnath Reddy), Gadwal (D K Aruna), Nallagonda ( Komatireddy Venkat Reddy), where KCR has pacified the dissidents in his party, ensuring that they participate in the campaigns.

The TRS party wants to make sure that these 5 key party leaders do not get a footing again in these constituencies. KCR is believed to have spoken to the local TRS leaders advising them on how to go about campaigning in these places.

Kodanagal Campaign

A senior TRS leader is busy working on poaching senior Congress leaders from Kodangal into the TRS fold. It is also targeting its attention on the strong Yadav community votes in Nagarjuna Sagar. Nomula Narasimhayya is contesting from here and TRS is working on appeasing the Yadav and Reddy vote banks and if that is achieved, winning the Nagrjuna Sagar seat would be easy. It was also heard that the Reddy community tried to oppose Narasmihayya's candidature by speaking to K T Rama Rao.

Gadwal

DK Aruna's nephew Bandla Krishnamohan Reddy is contesting as a TRS candidate from Gadwal. The BC community under the aegis of former MLA Gattu Bheemudu are supporting him.

Nalgonda

The TRS candidate Kancharla Bhupal Reddy in Nalgonda is trying to win with a sympathy factor and KCR is giving suggestions and ideas on campaign strategy and how to attract voters and win votes there. Apparently he has also secretly appointed observers and assessing the situation there.

Huzoornagar

TRS is yet to announce its candidate in the Huzoornagar constituency where TPCC Chief Uttam Kumar is contesting. There is a possibility of giving the ticket either to MP Guttha Sukender Reddy or former MLA of Mriryalaguda, Tippana Vijayasimha Reddy. TRS plans to announce the candidate name in a public rally to be conducted there.
