Nagarjuna Sagar: Senior leader of the Congress party K Jana Reddy today confirmed that in a week's time the grand alliance between the Congress, TDP, TJS and CPM would decide on the seat sharing for the upcoming elections. We are holding discussions with all the parties which are willing to fight the election along with the Congress, he said.

Speaking at a media conference organised at his residence here, he said that the list of candidates would be announced by month end. The people of the State are ready to cast an end to the autocratic and corrupt rule by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) in the last four years, he added.

Jana Reddy remarked that the TRS will utilise all the money made by illegal means in the upcoming elections. "By gathering people using money, the TRS leaders are destroying the democratic spirit. The public will teach a lesson to the TRS," he commented.

The Congress leader further said that caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) was indulging in cheap politics. After rolling out the Congress party's welfare schemes, KCR stooped down so low that he had now copied the Congress's manifesto, he observed.

Including the double bedroom scheme, three acres of land to the Dalits and additional reservation to the STs and Minorities, all the promises made by the TRS were completely ignored, the Congress leader said. With a fear of losing the public trust in coming days, KCR went for early polls to save his face, he added.

"The power-hungry TRS leaders are trying to deceive the public by announcing new schemes. The Congress will win a majority of seats and form the government comfortablty," he reiterated.
