Rahul Gandhi Will Be PM, Congress Rule In Telangana: Revanth Reddy

Vikarabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee Working President Revanth Reddy expressed confidence over his win from Kodangal constituency irrespective of the numerous schemes and conspiracies by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leaders.

Speaking at a meeting here, he predicted that Congress President Rahul Gandhi would be elected as the Prime Minister in the upcoming elections. "I will ensure that the political careers of Patnam brothers (Patnam Mahender Reddy and Patnam Narender Reddy) would end in the upcoming elections. Kodangal Gadda Congress Adda (The land of Kodangal is a fortress of the Congress). No one has the ability to defeat me in Kodangal," he said.

Revanth Reddy said that caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Reddy and caretaker IT minister K Taraka Rama Rao would not be able to stop his victory in Kodangal. In the list of 105 TRS contestants to contest in the Assembly elections announced by KCR after dissolving the government on September 6, names of caretaker minister Mahender Reddy (Tandur) and Narender Reddy (Kodangal) were also included.

Congress To Form Government In Telangana

The Congress top leader expressed confidence over the victory of the party in the upcoming Assembly elections. "The elections would be an opportunity to the TRS government to an end. Former MLA Gurunath Reddy is speaking like an ignorant man. I will dedicate my life to the service of public. By getting appointed in a TPCC post, I would get an opportunity to mingle with the public all the time," he said.
