Telangana Assembly Monsoon Session to Start from September 20

Hyderabad:  Telangana Assembly monsoon session will be held from September 20 for 10 days. A decision to this effect has been taken by the Business Advisory Committe (BAC) of the Telangana Legislative Assembly in its meeting on Tuesday.

The decision was taken by the BAC after both the Houses had unanimously ratified GST Bill (122nd Constitution Amendment Bill, 2014).
Though the opposition parties argued for a 15-day session, the government agreed for 10 days only after the Ganesh festival in the city.
