TDP MLA slams his own party, says its schemes are worthless - Sakshi Post

Is the political honeymoon of the famed JC Brothers of Anantaput - JC Diwakar Reddy and JC Prabhakar Reddy - with the TDP over?

Tadpalli MLA JC Prabhakar Reddy on Thursday criticised the policies of the Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP government in Andhra Pradesh. He said most of the schemes of the TDP government were mere exercises in futility. What more, he even said that Chandrababu would become CM again only when he provides drinking and irrigation water to the parched Rayalaseema districts.

Prabhakar Reddy also made some caustic comments on the upcoming capital of the Andhra Pradesh. "I wonder if Amaravathi, the upcoming state capital, will ever match the splendour and glory of Hyderabad. My heart sinks whenever I see the opulence of Hyderabad and ask myself whether we can have such a capital city," he said.

he also slammed Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi's proposed visit to Rayalaseema. "There is no need for this visit. He should actually help the poor people instead of making this tour," he said.

JC brothers left the Congress and joined the TDP ahead of the last general elections. While Prabhakar Reddy became an MP, his brother was elected an MLA. They had made similar comments earlier too, but the TDP chose not to act against them.
