TDP MLA points out lacunae in Chandrababu's crop loan waiver

TDP MLA points out lacunae in Chandrababu's crop loan waiver - Sakshi Post

Days after Chandrababu Naidu announced his loan waiver policy, it is increasingly becoming clear that the policy has loopholes galore.

Even his MLAs are now pointing out the lacunae in Chief Minister's policy. His partymen pointed out flaws in it's implementation during a video conference held on Tuesday.
TDP MLA Thota Trimuruthulu brought to the notice of Chandrababu that only Rs 4,000 was deposited in a farmer's account, who has one acre of land and has an outstanding loan of Rs 24, 000.
Shocked by this, Chandrababu clarified that  scale of finance won't be applicable to farmers who has loan amount below Rs 50,000.
Irked by CM's reply, Trimuruthulu went on saying that most of the losses were due to the scale of finance. He also added that a grave injustice has been done to the farmers of Dhraksharamam Society.
On the other hand, the TDP's government’s much-publicised web link giving details of crop loan waiver created more problems than it addressed. The details hosted on the website were ill-prepared, incomplete and confusing.
The site was initially difficult to access and finding that it was leading to disquiet among the farmers, the AP government hurriedly stopped the website for maintenance and announced that the website would function normally from Tuesday.
