Horses Killed After Running Into Speeding Lorry On Wrong Route

Hyderabad: Two horses died when they were run over by a speeding lorry in Siddiamber Bazaar in the Old City yesterday. The horse carriage came on the wrong route and the video of the unruly horses with wedding carriage ramming into the lorry has gone viral.

Police have not registered any case, but the animal rights activists have expressed anger over the incident, demanding stringent action against its owner. “The mishap occurred due to the irresponsible actions of the owners. Getting horses to gallop on main roads is becoming a practice in some areas," said an animal activist.

It may be recalled that in February, a motorcyclist died in the city after being hit by galloping horse in Mailardevpally in the Old City.
