T Assembly: Gadwal Aruna, Jagadeesh clash again

Hyderabad: The Telangana assembly once again witnessed verbal spat between Gadwal MLA DK Aruna (Congress) and Minister Jagadeesh Reddy on Wednesday.
The house was debating on a power project in Mahaboobnagar district, represented by Aruna. Soon, it deteriorated into a verbal duel between the two. Aruna asked the minister, who was a first-time MLA, to learn to behave. Jagadeesh Reddy said: "At least I didn't become a minister like her by licking the shoes of an Andhra leader."
These words made the Congress MLAs spring on to their feet and demand an apology from the minister. Congress MLA Chinna Reddy demanded that the minister apologise. The minister refused to do so, causing uproarious scenes.
Speaker Madusudhana Chary promised to remove the words from the records.
