Supreme Court Refuses Sasikala More Time to Surrender

Delhi: Supreme Court on Wednesday refused to entertain a petition by V K Sasikala, who was convicted in the DA case yesterday, seeking more time to surrender.

“We do not intend to pass any order on this. We are not going to change anything in the judgement,’’ the Supreme Court said today.

Meanwhile A day after V.K. Sasikala, put in place a plan of succession by getting PWD Minister Edappadi K. Palanaswami, as the leader of the AIADMK Legislative Party, she re-admitted her nephews TTV Dinakaran and Venkatesan, into the party.

Incidentally, the two were expelled by former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa in 2011.
