Stalker Severs Class 9 Girl’s Hand In Broad Daylight

Lakhimpur Kheri (Uttar Pradesh): Raising questions on women's safety, yet another blood curling incident happened where a stalker chopped off a 15-year-old girl’s hand on Wednesday. The girl was rushed to a nearby hospital and her condition is said to be critical.

The accused identified as Vinod Chaurasia who had been stalking class 9 student for a while was arrested. The accused tried to misbehave with the girl after spotting her in milling market area of Fatehpur Saidri. The girl chided him and angered over this he took a machete from his shop and attacked her.

However, some said the girl had borrowed the mobile phone charger of the brother of the accused, who got enraged when she refused to return it and launched the attack on her. Previously too, UP witnessed attacks on girls as on August 10 two sisters were set on fire while they were asleep. In another instance, Ragini Dubey was stabbed to death by unidentified goons
