Go Ahead And Indulge: Paddy Upton Advice On S*x To Indian Cricketers Before Match

Former Indian mental conditioning coach Paddy Upton has made a sensational claim in his book which has raised eyebrows. In a chapter titled 'Ego and my greatest professional error', Upton recalls the biggest mistake he made in his career.

This was during the 2009 ICC Champions Trophy which took place in South Africa when he is believed to have created a file for the Indian cricketers. In the document, Upton mentions the benefits of having sex before a match.

Here's what Paddy Upton writes in the chapter....

“Does s*x increase performance? Yes, it does. So go ahead and indulge. Okay, so that’s the popular answer, the one that everyone wants to hear. I know that if I want to have this article quoted widely, I should leave it at that.”

Upton is currently the coach of the Rajasthan Royals team in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He now claims that it was merely a suggestion and was not meant to be an advice to the cricket players.

In an interview to a magazine, Upton says that he was only sharing some information and that he was being ridiculed by the media for telling players to do it. Upton contends that he was only informing the players.
