Keep Me Out Of Your Mouth, Dinda Slams Trollers

Ashok Dinda - Sakshi Post

In a stinging response to his trollers, right-arm pacer Ashok Dinda took to social media on Thursday to list out his career achievements and to silence those who have been using his name to refer to a poor bowling performance.

The Bengal pacer wrote on his Instagram: “Haters, helping you get you statistics right. Stop and stare well your opinion is not my reality. So shut your hating selves and keep me out of your mouth," wrote Dinda.

The controversy began after RCB official twitter handle tweeted: “Dinda academy, what’s that?” along with Umesh Yadav picture attached to it. RCB’s tweet was in response to those fans who had trolled Umesh Yadav after he nearly failed to defend 26 runs off the last over in the RCB vs CSK IPL match held on April 21.

In the recent times, the term “Dinda Academy” has become famous on social media among cricket followers to refer to a bowler who leaks runs and performs badly. This has been the order of the day after Dinda, who in the last outing in the T20 tournament, did not do very well. As a result, the “Dinda Academy” came up time and again to refer to a poor bowling performance.

Immediately after Dinda’s angry reaction, RCB deleted the tweet and explained their case. The RCB in an apologetic tone said the “previous version of this tweet was in a bad taste”. Further, it went on to say: “However, for all of you who have relentlessly trolled this lad, he said #challengeAccepted and bowled his heart out! 4-0-36-3, 15 off his last two overs & 2 wickets in those! #PlayBold #RCBvKXIP”

In a separate post, Dinda said he is not the best bowler in the world, but he couldn’t expect anyone to humiliate his love for the game and the years of hard work he had put to achieve what he had.
