Wellington: Indian cricket Dinesh Karthik took a mesmerising catch in the first T20 match between India and Newzealand. He not only took the wicket he even stopped a six. Dinesh Karthik took all the players and audience in awe with his catch.

The last ball of 15th over was delivered by Hardik Pandya to the debut Newzealand player Daryl Mitchell. He played the ball towards the off side, this was a lofty shot. Dinesh Karthik was present at the boundary held the ball, but recognised that he was stepping in the rope and threw the ball in the opposite direction. Later he dove towards the ball and took Deril’s wicket.


In the meanwhile, he was unaware whether the Kiwis player was out or not. But the third umpire confirmed that it was an out. Daryl left the crease in disappointment, with his score in a single digit that is 8 runs in 6 balls. However, India lost the match to Newzealand. After winning the toss India chose to ball and gave 220 runs in the 20 overs.
