Sonia, Priyanka Send Puja Materials To Katasraj Temple In Pakistan To Perform Rudrabhishek 

New Delhi: On the occasion of Maha Shivaratri, Congress president Sonia Gandhi and her daughter Priyanka Gandhi, have sent puja material to Katasraj temple in Pakistan. Rurdabhishek would be performed by using the sent puja materials.

The puja materials have been taken to Pakistan by a group of five men from Haridwar, who preach Sanatan Dharm.

Incidentally, since many years, the Gandhi family had been sending the puja materials to Katasraj temple. It is learnt that they have been doing this ritual for public good.

Katasraj Prominence:

Katasraj is a Hindu temple complex situated in Katas village in the Chakwal district of Punjab in Pakistan. Although many temples are located here, ancient Shiva temple is famous one. Historians believe after the death of Lord Shiva’s wife Sati, he shed two tears drop – one at Katas in Pakistan, another at Ajmer in Rajasthan.
