Sister Dies On Hearing News Of Brother’s Death

In a shocking incident, two sibblings - a brother and sister - died within a space of few hours in Badvel of YSR district. The family and relatives are deeply shocked by the twin deaths.

According to sources, prominent teachers union leader and STU state secretary Ramakrishna Reddy died on Saturday morning due to cardiac arrest. On hearing about Reddy's demise, his sister Subba Lakshmi also suffered a cardiac arrest and collapsed. She died before medical help could arrive. The siblings were very attached to one another and were very affectionate. Reddy's death came as a shock to Subba Lakshmi and she passed away within a few hours.

Several teachers, unionists and locals paid respects to the departed siblings.
