Shobhaa De Trolled For Calling Cop “Overweight”
Writer and columnist Shobhaa De had a share of controversies for her distasteful comments previously. And De has come under radar once again for posting an image of a overweight police official with a pun-intended remark “heavy” bandobast made in view of BMC polls.
But to her dismay, her tweet backfired for body-shaming and Mumbai police responded to her in its inimitable style winning applause from Mumbaikars.
The Mumbai police corrected her saying that the image posted by her was of the man from Madhya Pradesh, as indicated by his badge.
However, De didn’t put a pause here. She again tweeted saying that whoever the official is, should go and consult a dietician. And this too received flak as many followed suit in reprimanding her.
