Seemandhra union ministers jolt 100-day Samaikyandhra stir

Seemandhra union ministers jolt 100-day Samaikyandhra stir - Sakshi Post

The complete u-turn of Union ministers from Seemandhra on the State bifurcation raises no eyebrows, because it was well understood that they were obsessive of their interests.

But, on Thursday, while swallowing the Union government’s bait hook, line and sinker, they thumbed their noses at the 100-day toil of Seemandhra people. For them, it is not Samaikya vadam, but just a ‘Samasyala vadam’.

Showing their real faces, the ministers changed their tone on the stand in keeping the State united; instead they are now trying to divert the public mind towards bargaining game for better deals for Seemandhra.

Earlier, they created ruckus with the drama of resignations. But, in no time, they were coaxed and Congress High Command made them resume their duties. Some ministers were clever enough to manage the show from their homes, as if they were out of office.

But, today they openly stepped into the shoes of typical Telangana leaders to confirm the inevitability of the state division. They further said, Telugu people will remain united though the state is divided topographically as Telangana and Seemandhra.

With the new mission of bargaining sops for Seemandhra, Six Union ministers including Kavuri Sambasiva Rao, MM Pallam Raju, Purandheshwari, Panabaka Lakshmi,  Killi Kruparani and J.D.Seelam met  Union Petroleum minister Veerappa Moily, who is a member of the GoM on bifurcation.

According to sources, the union ministers, during their meeting which lasted for one and half an hour, raised only on the issues emerge in the aftermath of State division, but reportedly tightlipped on united AP.
