Secunderabad Residents To Stage Candlelight March To Protest Against AOC Road Closure 

Candlelight march will be held on Tuesday at 5.30pm by the Federation of North Eastern Colonies of Secunderabad - Sakshi Post

Secunderabad: A candlelight march will be held on Tuesday at 5.30pm by the Federation of North Eastern Colonies of Secunderabad (FNECS) in order to re-open the civilian roads blocked by Army.

The march styled as 'We the People' will begin from Railway Reservation Office at AS Rao Nagar to Neredmet. A member of the FNECS said that the new roads proposed and approved are not beneficial to them. One of the member said that closure of a road has taken toll on school children of Valerian Grammar School, Yapral.

We have decided to organise a candlelight march on behalf of lakhs of residents of twin cities. We demand reopening of all Army roads in the Cantonment

Sainikpuri, Yapral, AS Rao Nagar, Neredmet, Malkajgiri, Alwal, Bolarum residents will participate in the march.

“We have decided to organise a candlelight march on behalf of lakhs of residents of twin cities. We demand reopening of all Army roads in the Cantonment,” said a FNECS member.
