Salim Khan’s Birthday Cake Is Talk Of The Town, Here’s Why

Noted screenwriter and Dabangg Khan Salman Khan's father Salim Khan’s birthday bash was no ordinary affair. The writer turned 82 on November 24 and the do was a 'Khaan-daan' event, as all the family members from Malaika Arora, Arbaaz Khan, Arpita Khan Sharma and husband Aayush Sharma, Sohail Khan, Helen etc. were present on the occasion.

What stood as highlight of the party was the birthday cake. The cake carried the posters of Salim Khan's films for which he was the screenwriter. A collage of cult Hindi films like Sholay, Zanjeer, Haathi Mere Saathi, Don etc. adorned the cake. Salman's sister Arpita gave us a glimpse of the birthday cake on her Instagram account. She captioned the picture ,"Loved the cake".

Salim Khan first appeared in the 1960 film Baraat as a supporting actor. But the turning point in his career came after he met writer Javed Akhtar during the making of Sarhadi Lootera. The duo then went on to collaborate as screenwriters in epic hits Sholay, Don, Andaz, Mr. India, etc.
