RTA Nets Good Income Through Auction Of Fancy Numbers 

Hyderabad: Officials reveal that the Khairatabad RTA has reportedly earned over 19 lakh through an auction of fancy numbers on Thursday. Private companies reportedly shelled out hefty amounts to purchase numbers that were mostly in the 9 and 7 series.

A bid amount of Rs.9 lakh was tendered by a city based private company for the registration number 9999. Excel Cotton Company bid for the number (TS 09 EP 9999) for a BMW car costing Rs. 41.82 lakh.

Megha Engineering and Infrastructure won registration number (TS 09 EQ 0009) for its Bentley worth Rs.4.4 crore with a bid amount of Rs. 6 lakh.

Gayatri Projects secured (TS 09 EQ 0007) for their BMW costing Rs1.25 crore.
