Riot of colors marks Holi celebrations Across AP, Telangana - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: People across various age groups have plunged into riot of colours on Holi festival on Wednesday.

And the city being a cosmopolitan hub has witnessed Holi celebrations across various cultures in unique way.
Some celebrated in village style wherein men wore Bandhini-turban around the head and women are seen clad in skirt and jacket emulating a trendy village get up. Apart from this, Bengali's in the city place the idol of Radha-Krishna in a swing and mark the festival.
Residents of Malaysian Township and other big apartment societies in city actively participated in Holi celebrations. The festival of colours was celebrated with fun and frolic. Children splashed water balloons on one another. Even adults also indulged into fun and frolic activity.

 

City youngsters driving on two-wheeler were seen shouting and cheering the passers-by.
Meanwhile, Star hotels have organized Holi parties which will be attended by several revellers to enjoy the holiday spirit.
Events like ' Holi Dhandiya' at Papyrusport resort, Music Colour Dance Holi at Sayalo in Madhapur and Rang De Hyderabad at Butta Convention are some to name where lot of fun and gaga would take place.
YSRCP Chief and Andhra Pradesh opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy wished holi to people of both the Telugu states via Twitter.
"Have a happy #Holi, using environment-friendly, non-toxic organic colours," YS Jagan Mohan Reddy tweeted.
