Raj Tarun's latest outing Rangula Raatnam has proved skeptics wrong. It is doing decent business at the box office and is one of those small budget Davids taking on box office Goliaths.

The film produced by Nagarjuna set itself up for competition with other big films such as Agnyaathavaasi and Jai Simha and it is because of these films that Raj Tarun's Rangula Raatnam got fewer screens across the world. The film received mixed reviews from fans and audiences.

Rangula Raatnam has earned Rs 6.5 Cr on the second day at the box office. Written and directed by Shreeranjani with the score composed by Sree Charan Pakala, Rangula Raatnam is a rom-com film where Raj Tarun proved his mettle again with an excellent performance. Chitra Shukla is seen playing Raj Tarun's love interest in Rangula Raatnam.
