Private Bank MD Shot At By Unidentified Person In Hyderabad 

Hyderabad: A motorbike-borne miscreant opened fire at the chief executive officer (CEO) of a private bank at an apartment at Shanti Nagar in Masab Tank area in city on Sunday. The CEO of the not-so-well-known KBS Bank, Manmadha Dalia, sustained a minor injury on his leg after the miscreant shot at him following some heated argument between the two at Kanumilli apartment in the afternoon.

According to West Zone DCP Venkateshwara Rao, the miscreant, claiming to be a police official, came to the apartment enquiring about the victim. When the watchman informed Dalia about the visitor, he was allowed into the flat. Within minutes, the miscreant fired at Dalia and fled the spot on his bike. He fired two rounds - one round into the air and another at Dalia before fleeing the scene.

Financial transactions are believed to be the reason behind the incident.

The victim is undergoing treatment at a private hospital and the police investigation is on.
