Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly and YSR Congress Party Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's mass outreach program Praja Sankalpa Yatra has imprinted everlasting memories in the minds of the people of the ten constituencies in Srikakulam district. The padayatra gave an opportunity to the locals for pouring out their woes to the leader of the masses. In YS Jagan, the people of Srikakulam found a leader who would lend an ear to the struggles of distressed farmers and the ones who have been suffering due the government's autocratic rule and unilateral decisions. The padayatra in Srikakulam was a massive success ever since YS Jagan stepped his foot in Kadakalle Village in Veeraghattam Mandal in the district on November 25, 2018. MSP for the forest products of the tribals, restoration of the Amudalavalasa Sugar Factory, increased compensation for Titli victims, pension for Uddanam kidney disease victims and many others have instilled hop among the masses.

Palakonda: November 25 to 29, distance 34 km

In his five day padayatra tour in the constituency, YS Jagan lent a patient ear to the local issues. He had promised to abolish the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) for employees and increase MSP for forest products of tribals to improve their economic status.

Rajam, December 1 to 4, distance 37.5 km

On December 3, the people's leader explained in detail to the locals the ill-effects of diluting the fee reimbursement scheme. CPS aboilition, issues of contract lecturers, integrated brokers and job security to Health Assistants have been promised.

Tekkali, December 18 to 23, distance 46.2 km

Locals of Tekkali brought to the attention of YS Jagan the atrocities and irregularities of the associates of TDP minister Atchannaidu in the last four years. The people cried out their woes before the YSRCP Chief on the harrassment of Janma Bhoomi Committee in providing pensions and ration cards. On December 22, the padayatra reached the milestone of 3,500 km. In Ravivalasa Village, YS Jagan met the factory workers of Metcore Ferro Alloys.

Etcherla, December 4 to 8, distance 17 km

The people's leader reached Gedelapeta of G.Sigadam Mandal to a massive welcome from the locals. In his public meeting address on December 6 at Chilakapalem, YS Jagan exposed the corrupt history of minister Kala Venkat Rao. He spoke on the government's failure in providing jobs, delay in repairing the Thotapalli canal and issues in Ambedkar University.

Amudalavalasa, December 5 to 12, distance 34 km

In Ponduru Mandal in the constituency, YS Jagan after interacting with the Khadi workers promised to build a Khadi industry. After crisscrossing Amudalavalasa town and Mandal on December 10,11 and 12, YS Jagan promised to reopen the local sugar factory which was closed down in Chandrababu Naidu's rule.

Narasannapeta, December 15 to 18, distance 21 km

The YSRCP cadre welcomed the party Chief at Madapam in the constituency, where he exposed the government's failures in the public meeting on December 16, which turned out to be the largest public gathering ever in the history of Narasannapeta. On December 18, the padayatra reached Tekkali before YS Jagan interacted with the students of Agriculture on the day before.

Pathapatnam: December 23 to 29, distance 33.6 km

YS Jagan was approached by auto drivers, outsourcing employees and factory workers. In the public meeting in Meliyaputti on December 24, YS Jagan lambasted the TDP government and the local MLA who had defected to the TDP.

Srikakulam: December 8 to 12, distance 25.8 km

People from all walks of life have met YS Jagan during the five day padayatra in Srikakulam. Addressing the public meeting on December 8, the people's leader said the YSRCP after coming to power would waive the loans issued by the TDP government to provide houses. He had announced an MLC post for Kalinga Komat community and promised to form a separate Commission for the Velama, Kalinga and other communities. He had interacted with students of Agricultural college in Naira.

Palasa: December 29 to January 2, distance 44 km

The padayatra entered Palasa near Regulapadu off-shore. In the public meeting on December 30, YS Jagan promised to provide pensions to factory workers, Rs 3,000 for every tree lost in cyclone Titli among others. He had visited the Titli-affected areas in Vajrapukothuru Mandal. Later, he was perturbed with the intensity of Uddanam kidney related diseases. A 250 bed hospital and Rs 10,000 pension was promised for the victims.

Ichchapuram: January 2, distance 50 km

The padayatra began in Ichchapuram at Sompeta Mandal on January 2 and proceeded towards Kanchili and Kaviti Mandals. The locals have described their day-to-day problems at length to the people's leader. The YSRCP Chief promised to solve all the issues after coming to power. The padayatra will conclude on January 9 at Kotha Kojjiriya where he will unveil a victory pylon. He will address a massive public gathering in Ichchapuram old bus stand centre.
