Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly and YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy will leave behind an everlasting impression on the minds of the people of the districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam after the kind of impact he has created in the region with his mass contact initiative, Praja Sankalpa Yatra, as it reaches yet another major milestone of 3,000 km. The people's leader instilled hope in the helpless farmers who were suffering from distress in the last four years. He assured employees, students, businessmen and women of all help and assistance after coming to power.

"Jagan Ane Nenu.. will ensure that a separate Anakapalle district is carved out in our rule," the people's leader promised in his highly successful padayatra in Visakhapatnam district. A thunderous applause followed his announcement, which meant a great deal to the local students who were long deprived of quality educational institutions, and to the men and women of the region who would still rush a distance of 30 km to the King George Hospital in Visakhapatnam. The locals, who were grappling with many a problem in the past few years of the Telugu Desam Party's (TDP) government, saw hope in YS Jagan.

Across Visakhaptnam district, YS Jagan received thousands of complaints over the sick state of co-operative societies from the locals. They cried out for help as they feared job losses with the closing down of sugar factories. In YS Jagan, the locals saw a  hope for the revival of sugar factories. They are confident that he will an endeavor to repeat the efforts of late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy, who was pivotal in saving the factories from closing down in 2004.

"Jagan Ane Nenu.. promise to secure the interests of the farmers, employees and businessmen by protecting the co-operative sugar factories," YS Jagan said to the public in Visakhapatnam. The people's leader lent a patient ear to the problems and difficulties of women and farmers, who were desperate for a change of fortunes in their lives. People of Visakhapatnam were delighted after the leader promised to do justice to the factories and dairies in the regional co-operative society, which were being looted by private entities and brokers who worked for Chandrababu's Heritage Foods.

YS Jagan ensured that the people of the State were at the cusp of calling it an end to Chandrababu's rule, which failed to provide MSP to farmers, healthcare, fees reimbursement, employment, housing among his 600 election promises.
