Chandrababu, The Biggest Obstacle For AP Development: BJP
Vizaianagaram: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLC Somu Veerraju lashed out at Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu over Special Category Status (SCS) to the state. After compromising on special package in 2017, Chandrababu has changed his stance over the SCS again, he said.
Chandrababu, who is deliberately causing obstacles for setting up of the Bhogapuram Airport, is the biggest barrier for state development, the MLC alleged. In the name of SCS, Chandrababu is secretly supporting actor Shivaji and social activist Chalasani Srinivas for speaking against the Centre, he accused.
The BJP leader further alleged that Chandrababu is fully focused on encouraging massive corruption in Polavaram project work and is completely ignoring AP development.
The BJP allotted a Tribal University, a National Highway and several Defence projects to
the district, he asserted. We will fight alone in the 2019 elections, he clarified.
