Congress To Get Professional Help To Draft Manifesto

Hyderabad: The Congress party's manifesto for the next elections would be drafted by the professionals, said TPCC chief spokesperson Dr Dasoju Sravan.

In New Delhi, a comprehensive power point presentation of All India Professional Congress (AIPC) was held on Saturday. Dr Sravan stated that AIPC has been receiving a great response from all over the Telangana State. This is a great platform for the professionals who come up with their innovative ideas by playing a key role in nation building.

AIPC National Chairman Shashi Tharoor, former union minister Milind Deora and more than 100 experts across the country participated in the convention, including Rahul Gandhi.

Sravan said that AIPC was launched on 5th November, 2017 and has registered a powerful growth. The Telangana unit of All India Professional Congress launched 7 chapters on 10th February, 2018 and has reached 432 number of fellows. More than 25 events were organised which include group discussion on education and employment issues in Telangana, Financial Resolution and Deposit Insurance bill, 2017 and Symposium on Integrating Sustainable Development Goals and also Demonetization- Disaster of Indian Economy. A protest was also held for Asifa and condemning the rape incident of Kathua and Unnao, he said.

Sravan said that the each Lok Sabha constituency will have a single chapter (17 Chapters) or one chapter in each district (31 districts) in the next 4 months. AIPC will organise the workshops on Agriculture, Health, Employment and Education. Congress party will come up with a people's manifesto with the help of professionals, he said. Sravan said the Congress party would be a transparent government and opportunities would be given for the professionals in the forthcoming elections.
