TDP Rule Based On Fake Promises: BJP

Hyderabad: Accusing the Telugu Desam Party leaders of attacking the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders, Andhra Pradesh BJP leader Vishnu Vardhan Reddy demanded President's rule in the state.

Speaking to media here, he said that the attacks on opposition leaders by the ruling TDP members were making it difficult for the opposition parties to democratically operate in Andhra Pradesh.

The TDP came to power by lying and committing to unreal promises in 2014, he said. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu's rule is based on conspiracies, false allegations and fake promises, he asserted.

The BJP leaders are expected to file a complaint with Governor Narasimhan on issues pertaining to law and order situation in the state.
