Perni Nani to join ysrcp soon

In yet another blow to the Congress party, the party MLA and government whip, Perni Venkatramaiah alias Perni Nani  met YSR Congress Party chief Jagan Mohan Reddy in Chanchalguda prison on Thursday.

The two-time legislator is representing the party from Machilipatnam constituency.

Speaking to reporters post his meeting with Jagan, Nani announced that he had resigned both as the government whip and as assembly member."I have closely watched all the conspiracy hatched by the Congress and the TDP to keep Jagan in jail. It's been eight months since Jagan was put behind bars..I cannot bear to see this and hence decided to join the YSRCP."

"I would like to be with YSR's family during such difficult times. I will also offer unconditional support to the party," he added.

He further said that although he intended to stick with the congress till 2014, he could not do so after witnessing the injustice meted out to Jagan.

Nani's father Krishna Murty was a senior leader of Congress and also a minister in the cabinet of Nedurumalli Janardhana Reddy.
