Pawan Not Showing Interest On JFC: JP

Former IAS officer Jayaprakash Narayan and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: In a startling revelation, former IAS officer Jayaprakash Narayan said here today that Jana Sena founder and president Pawan Kalyan was not showing any interest over the Joint Fact Finding Committee (JFC) which was formed through his initiative. JP was also part of the JFC and had worked to bring out the facts about the funds allocated to Andhra Pradesh and how it was used by the TDP government. JFC was also intended to work towards the state being granted the Special Category Status (SCS).

JP expressed his disbelief before the media and said that the initial enthusiasm shown by Pawan Kalyan over the formation of JFC and its working was now missing. "After lot of study and discussion, we have brought forward the facts, but there has been no progress after that," he pointed out. He further commented that the actor turned politician was now not keen on JFC.

This has prompted him to now form a new committee with individual experts from different areas, he mentioned and said that if JFC was the first level, the new committee will take the process to the next level. JP said they were ready to meet the central government with all the details, if they were given time. "Let me remind you all that SCS to AP issue was brought into focus by me first," he added.
