The issue of Pattiseema Project rocked the Andhra Pradesh Assembly with the Opposition members insisting a debate on the project.

Soon after the house reassembled, the YSRCP members began insisting on a discussion on the river-linking and demanded two hours time for the discussion.
But Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao said that they cannot allocate two hours time under Rule 344.
The House witnessed war of words with Opposition members insisting on a debate and the Government blaming YS Jagan from shying away from debate.
YS Jagan warned that they will stall the proceedings if sufficient time is not given. He further said that the party wants to expose how the Government had indiscriminately given tenders to contractors close to the TDP.
