TSPSC Paper Leak Case: Non-bailable Warrant Issued Against Accused Persons

 - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: A city court issued Non-bailable Warrants (NBWs) against the seven accused persons in the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) exam paper leak case on Saturday.

Nampally Criminal Court has issued these NBWs after the accused failed to appear before the court on Friday. The accused persons A17, A18, A23, A25, A27, A28 and A37 did not attend the hearing and ignored the court summons prompting the judge to issue a non-bailable warrant against them. The police have been directed to arrest the accused persons and produce them in the court.

It’s worth mentioning here that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) is probing the TSPSC exam paper leak case. Nearly 100 suspects have been arrested by the investigating team in this case. The accused persons were charged under various sections 318, 409, 420, 411, 120 (B) and 201 of the Indian Penal Code and they were also slapped with various sections of the IT Act.

The exam paper leak matter came to light on March 13 and the police swung into action and detained nine suspects including Praveen Kumar and Rajasekhar Reddy, who was working as a network admin at the public service commission. The accused persons had stolen the question papers of a few exams from the computer in the confidential section of the Commission office and made money out of it.
