For the first time, the Jana Sena Party participated in Assembly elections in Telangana, contesting in eight assembly constituencies in the state and forming a comfortable alliance with the BJP.

Pawan Kalyan actively campaigned for his party's candidates as well as for ally BJP's candidates. As per media reports, Pawan's party failed to secure even deposits. It is indicated that Pawan's efforts have gone in vain.

The Jana Sena Party lost in all the constituencies it contested, ranking third in Kukatpally and conspicuously behind in the other seven constituencies.

Pawan Kalyan's party failed to create any real impact at the ground level in Telangana. Meanwhile, the JSP's alliance partner, the BJP won 8 assembly constituencies with a double-digit vote share at the state level.

Meanwhile, Congress won 64 seats and is likely to form the government with a majority on its own, and the BRS holds the second position.

It's a significant setback for Pawan's Jana Sena Party, as it has turned out to be irrelevant in every constituency where it competed.
