Ahmedabad: IPL 2023 GT vs CSK Highlights: Defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by five wickets in the IPL 2023 opener at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday.

Chasing the massive total, Gujarat Titans got off to a quick start. Wriddhiman Saha fell for 25 off 16. Later, Sai Sudharshan and Shubman Gill kept the momentum going. Gill hit his first half-century in the inaugural IPL 2023 match off 30 balls.

Invited to bat, CSK rode on opener Ruturaj Gaikwad 92 off 50 balls as Chennai Super Kings posted a challenging 178 for seven against the Gujarat Titans in the IPL opener here. Moeen Ali put pressure on the Titans with a 17-ball 23.
