Did Virat and Anushka take this shocking decision?

Stylish batter Virat Kohli is back at the den of his franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) ahead of the IPL 2024. The cricketer had taken a break from playing cricket as Kohli and Bollywood actress wife Anushka Sharma welcomed their second child recently. The new addition to the family arrived on February 15, 2024 at a hospital in London. The couple named their second child Akaay. The first child Vaamika was born in 2021. 

Virat Kohli missed the Test series against England because Anushka needed him by her side during the final stages of her pregnancy. A month after the birth of Akaay, Kohli returned to India on March 17. He was spotted at the airport without family and this led to the speculation that the couple is planning to relocate and settle in the UK permanently. A Reddit post which went viral on social media highlighted the fact that Anushka Sharma is extending her stay in the UK and the couple may be planning to move out of the country.

A user wrote, “..can probably have what’s closest to a near normal life (in the UK)..” while another commented that, “he (Virat Kohli) has said it several times that he likes the UK, he likes to see his child living a normal life there.” 

A third wrote, “Yes , because a ) if you have money life in uk is very peaceful b) citizenship is easily available you have to invest some amount c) privacy for vamika n akaay which they want d) anushka in her initial interviews had always said that she does want to be a housewife be there for her children.” 

However, the fans of Virat and Anushka dismissed the rumours of the couple’s ‘relocation plan’ and said that they may frequently visit London but will not leave India.
