August 14 Hyderabad Rains: Police Warn Public, Advise WFH for Safety

Hyderabad and the entire state of Telangana are bracing to face the massive downpour of rains that have been troubling the citizens the entire month of August. Severe rainstorms warning was given already to the entire state by the IMD from 13th to the 17th of August, and working professionals in the city have already considered working from home to prevent the congestion of traffic that will arise.

Now, the Telangana police department has issued an advisory to IT companies and organizations to consider work from home for their employees on the 14th of August owing to the heavy rainfall forecast that's predicted by the IMD. The advisory aims to alleviate pressure on road infrastructure and ensure the seamless operation of essential services amidst adverse weather conditions.
