1. Ajayante Randam Moshanam

Ajayante Randam Moshanam which means Ajayan’s second theft, is a period action film written by Sujith Nambiar and directed by Jithin Laal, starring Tovino Thomas in triple role alongside, Krithi Shetty, Basil Joseph and Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead roles.The movie is expected to release in 2023.

2. Barroz: Guardian Of The Treasures

Barroz: Guardian of Treasures is an upcoming children's fantasy film directed by Mohanlal in his directorial debut. It stars Mohanlal in the title role, with Maya, Sara Vega, Tuhin Menon, Guru Somasundaram, and Cesar Lorente Raton in other important roles. It is the story of Barroz, a treasure guardian, who has been protecting Vasco da Gama's hidden treasure for 400 years and has been entrusted to hand over the wealth only to a true descendant of Gama. The movie is planning for a 2023 release. 

3. Kaathal: The Core

Kaathal: The Core is a drama film directed by Jeo Baby and written by Adarsh Sukumaran and Paulson Skaria, starring Mammootty in the lead role with Jyothika. The movie is expected to hit the screens in 2023.

4. King of Kotha

King of Kotha, also known as KOK, is a gangster film directed by Abhilash Joshiy, written by Abhilash N. It stars Dulquer Salmaan, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Gokul Suresh and Aishwarya Lekshmi in lead roles. The movie is expected to be released in 2023.

5. Ottakkomban

Ottakkomban is an upcoming action film directed by Mathews Thomas and stars Suresh Gopi, Anushka Shetty and Biju Menon in the lead roles while Namitha Pramod, Mukesh, Vijayaraghavan, Johny Antony, Anant Mahadevan and Renji Panicker play prominent supporting roles.It is a fictional story based on Suresh Gopi's fictional character Kuruvachan, who is a family man and a trader by profession. 

6.Poovan

Poovan is an upcoming Indian Malayalam-language film directed by Vineeth Vasudevan starring Antony Varghese, Sajin Cherukayil, Vineeth Vishwam, Varun Dhara and Vineeth Vasudevan. The film is scheduled to be released on 6th January 2023. Poovan, according to the film's creators, uses humor to tackle some important social concerns in its screenplay, which was written by Varun Dhara.

7. Ram

Ram is an action thriller film written and directed by Jeethu Joseph. The film stars Mohanlal in the title role, along with an ensemble cast including Trisha, Indrajith Sukumaran, Samyuktha Menon, Adil Hussain, Durga Krishna, Prachi Tehlan, Anoop Menon, Saikumar, Suman, Chandhunadh, and Siddique. The film focuses on the efforts by the R&AW to track down a former agent and spy of the organization, Ram Mohan, who went rogue and disappeared. 

8. Aadujeevitham

The film depicts the life of Najeeb Muhammad (Prithviraj), an Indian abused migrant worker, who was forced to survive in a desert to herd goats in Saudi Arabia. The movie is directed by Blessy and stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Amala Paul, Umesh Kaushik in leading roles. 

9. L2: Empuraan

The next installation of the Lucifer series, this movie will detail the events before and after the incidents shown in Lucifer. It is not a continuation of the first film but a standalone project. It is directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Mohanlal, Sachin Khedekar, Fazil etc. 

10. Kathanar

The movie depicts the story of Kadamattathu Kathanar, the legendary priest who is believed to have lived in Kadamattom and possessed supernatural powers. It is directed by Rojin Thomas and stars Jayasurya. 

11. Thankam

Muthu (Biju Menon) and Kannan (Vineeth Sreenivasan) are Gold Agents from Thrissur, the Gold Capital of India. The movie portrays their travel to Mumbai to distribute gold and the following mishaps they face on their journey. The movie is directed by Saheed Arafath and Prinish.
