Scores of TDP, JS leaders join YSRCP

On Day 5 of "Memantha Siddham" Bus Yatra, key leaders joined the YSR Congress party from the TDP and Jana Sena party in the presence of the Chief Minister, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Among them were Venugopal, formerly a key TDP leader of the Puttaparthi Constituency; Tirupathendra, Janasena leader; K. Peddanna; and Venkataswamy, a TDP leader from Puttaparthi Mandal, who joined the YSR Congress Party in the presence of CM Y.S. Jagan at the Sanjeevapuram stay point.

Venugopal resigned from his position as DSP with the expectation of receiving a TDP ticket for the Puttaparthi constituency. However, he was left disappointed, as he did not receive the promised ticket.

Former ZPTC (former MPP) of Puttaparthi Constituency—Amadagur Mandal, Potta Purushottam Reddy, and Potta Mallikharjuna Reddy joined the YSR Congress Party in the presence of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy at the Sanjeevapuram stay point.

V. Hanok, former MPP from Lepakshi village, Hindupur Constituency, TDP leader Chandra Dandu, and State Vice President Ansar Ahmed joined the YSR Congress Party in the presence of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy at the Sanjeevapuram stay point. Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy was also present at the program.
